Steed – Montgomery

On Wednesday last at high noon, Miss Mary Viola Steed and Mr. S.T. (Thomas)
Montgomery were united in marriage at the home of Miss Steed’s parents, Hon. and
Mrs. V.I. Steed, near Talbotton, Rev. L.E. Pierce officiating.

Following the ceremony, Mr. and Mrs. Montgomery departed in an automobile for
the home of Mr. Montgomery at Mauk.

Personally attractive and a young woman of the most splendid traits of
character, the bride has endeared herself to a wide circle of friends who will
learn with sincere interest of the wedding.

Mr. Montgomery is one of the county’s most substantial citizens and a successful
merchant of Mauk.
