Mr. P.F. Vanlandingham, of Howard, has announced the engagement of his daughter,
Miss Mattie Julia, to Mr. Eugene Hugh Perkins, the marriage to take place June
18, 1919.  Miss Vanlandingham and Mr. Perkins carry with them the
congratulations of hundreds of friends in their anticipated nuptials.

Personal Paragraphs

Mr. and Mrs. J.N. Sumner, of Sylvester, passed through the city yesterday
enroute to home after a visit to the home of Mr. E.C. Perkins and attending the
Vanlandingham-Perkins wedding which was one of the most interesting social
events of the season in the county, uniting as it does the lives and hearts of
two of our most prominent young people, Miss Mattie Julia Vanlandingham and Mr.
Hugh Perkins.  The ceremony was performed at the home of the bride’s father, Mr.
P.F. Vanlandingham, at Howard yesterday.
