Caldwell principal & Brittan Smith Securities as held and firmly bound unto the Court [smudged] for said county and his successors in office and assigns in the just and full sum of Six Thousand Dollars for the payment of which Sum to the Said Ordinary and his successors in office we bind ourselves our heirs executors and administrators in the whole and for the whole ___ and severally and firmly by these presents Sealed with our Seal and dated this fifteen Day of October 1863 The condition of the above obligation is such that if the above bound John H. Caldwell do make a true and proper inventory of the goods, chattels, right credit Lands and tenaments of Benjamin Caldwell late of Said County deceased which have or shall come into the hands, possession or knowledge of Said John H. Caldwell or the Hands or possession of any person or persons for him and the Same be made do exhibit - unto the said Ordinary when he shallbe hereunto required, do well and truly administer according to law or make a just true of his actings and doings therein when he Shall hereunto be required by the court - Shall deliver and pray such person or persons respectively as they may be entitled to the same by law and if it shall hereafter appear that any last Will and Testament was made by the deceased and the same is proven before the court of Ordinary and the executor obtain a certificate the probate thereof and John H.
