He Humphries asked Thomas Amerson, "Tommy, do you think I am dying? I know I am. Call Sister and hear what I say, Sister, what is here is yours. Dolly is yours. I want you to have dolly. You can go __ and her right now. The Engine & Gin down yonder is one half yours and the other Tommy's, the papers are in my trunk. There is a mortgage in my trunk I want you to get that, it is yours and I want you to get it right now. I have used a hundred & sixty dollars of Barty [sister Martha Bartow Humphries] money and she hasn't the scratch of a pen for it. I want her to have it. Carry on the business just as it has been Keep Lish if you Him, if not pay him & let him go. Give Dennis his part of the crop. Tommy I want you to see my Sisters righted, take that watch & carry it to Edgar, get Farter's [father?] watch and give it to Sister, it is hers. I want Monroe to have the gun.
