I John Mott of said state and county being of advanced age, and knowing that I must shortly depart this life think it right and proper that both as respects my family and myself that I should make a disposition of the property with which a kind providence has blessed me; do therefore make this my last will and testement, hereby revolking all others heretofore made by me. 1st. Item I desire and direct that my body be buried in a Chrition like mannor suitable to my circumstances in life. My soul I trust return to rest with God who gave it. 2nd Item I desire and direct that all my debts be paid by my Executor herein after appointed especially as there is no necessity for delay. 3rd Item I give and bequeath to my six children namely Sarah Ann Racheals, - John William - , Susan, Eliza, Mary Elizabeth, and Matilda Mott - all that lot or tract of land in the thirteenth District of originally Muscogee now Taylor County - known as lot number Eighty six together with all the Rights and appointnaces (?0 ----?-- - beling-ing and my Executor to dispose of the place to the best advantage & benefit of the children together with all the residue of property what it be. 4th. Item And I hereby constitute and ordain my son, Zachariah J. Mott as Executor of my last Will and testament, this July 18, 1883. ___ end will ____ Note by Poster: This should not be construed to mean these were the only children of John Mott. There is conclusive proof of quite a few others.
