Will of Fannie Green Caldwell Rhodes 15 Nov 1913 Taylor County, GA Georgia Taylor County I, Mrs. Fannie G. Rhodes of said state & county being of sound & disposing mind & memory do make this my last Will & Testament hereby revoking & annulling all others by me heretofore made. I desire & direct that my body be buried in a decent and Christianlike manner, suitable to my circumstances in life. I desire & direct that my just debts be paid without unnecessary delay by my Executor & Executrix hereinafter named & appointed. I desire and direct that all my estate both real & personal after my death be kept together & that the income from same be used as a support for my husband John W. Rhodes and any of my daughters that may remain unmarried.I further direct & desire that after the death of my husband John W. Rhodes, if any of my daughters still remain unmarried that the whole of my estate be kept together & that the income from same be used for their support so long as they or one of them (my daughters) may remain unmarried.I further desire & direct that after the death of my husband John W. Rhodes & the marriage or death of my daughters that the whole of my estate be sold & the proceeds equally divided among all my children share and share alike.I hereby appoint my husband John W. Rhodes Executor and my daughter Myrtle Rhodes Executrix of this my last [Will] and Testament & I hereby give them the authority to make deeds to any person that may hold my Bond for title to land at the time of my death on the payment of the purchase money for same without any order from any Court & I further relieve them - my Executor & Executrix from giving any bond or making any inventory, appraisement or making any returns of any kind to any Court. I further direct that my Executor & Executrix have the power to sell, at the time mentioned above in this my last Will & Testament without any order from any Court & at public or private sale as they may see _____ best for the _____for my estate and that they or either of them have the authority & power to make good & suffisceint (sic)true to any and all property so sold.
