Witness my hand and official signature, this 9th day of February 1938. L.T. Peed, Ordinary Court of Ordinary Taylor County, Ga In the matter of the appointment of a permanent administrator of P.C. Watson, late of said County deceased March Term 1938 Caveat Come now, Mrs. Georgia Scrimpshire, Mrs. Marion Jinks, Mrs. H.E. Fowler and Thomas H. Stone, next of the kin of the said P.C. Watson, late of said county, deceased as this March Term 1938 and files this their caveat to the appointment of W.A. Childs and H. Watson as permanent administrators on said estate, and for grounds of caveat, shows: 1 That under the provisions of law regulation the appointment of permanent administrators where there are surviving next of kin in equal degree such survivors have the privilege of selecting an administrator of the estate of the deceased ancestor and that in the present case your petitioners have not been consulted and hereby object to the appointment of persons aforementioned. 2 Petitioners further show that one of said administrators, to-wit, W.A. Childs is employed as a traveling salesman is absent from the county a large part of the time and would not have sufficient time to devote to the administration of said Estate. 3 Petitioners would further show that in as much as there are a number of heirs that it would be more economical for the said estate to appoint some honest disinterested person in order that the said estate may not be wasted in litigation brought about by the dissention among the heirs at law. 4 Caveators stand ready to verify each and every one of the grounds hereinbefore set out and asks the court that other suitable person be appointed.
