Vaughn Tabernacle Church Cemetery Index, Telfair County, GA VAUGHN TABERNACLE CHURCH CEMETERY INDEX, Telfair County, GA Submitted: 10/03/2000 Made Available to The UsGenWeb Archives by: Wayne Augustus Harrell - wah1949@bellsouth.net Recently visited this site to check out info found in Telfair County History 1807-1987 on it. This site has just a few people at rest in it. Found that the info in the text may not be correct and was able to locate both my father's parents at rest at the site. Here are a few of the names I did take note of from this site: Miles Morgan Bloodworth b 8 May 1860 d 7 Oct 1941 Nealie Vaughn b 3 Dec 1871 21 Feb 1936 rest beside him Tom Johnson b 3 Oct 1876 d 20 Aug 1951 Ann Vaughn b 6 Nov 1874 d 11 Jun 1961 rest beside him Joe B Johnson b 21 Nov 1904 d 16 Dec 1984 "Joe Boy" rest near them My grandfather was: Charles Wright Harrell b 28 Apr 1883 d 31 Jul 1931 According to his DC in Telfair County he was buried at Sharon but that is not true. On his death certificate he was b 29 Apr 1883 d 30 Jul 1931 and died of Malarial Fever and DR A O Harrell, Augustus O'Bacon Harrell I, was the one who signed death certificate. A O Harrell was his brother and the person my father is named after as, Augustus O'Bacon Harrell II b 2 Sep 1915 d 2 Oct 1981. Charles Wright Harrell on his death certificate and my father's death certificate is refered to as just Wright Harrell. His parents are by death certificate: William Harrell and Harriet Willcox. His spouse was: Georgia Wall b 15 Nov 1896 d 30 Oct 1926, also at rest in Vaughn TC. I have very little at this time on her other than she was dau of George Wall and Rindy Miller. I plan to revisit the site and get a list of all the names in the site, but it will be nearer end of month before I'm able to return to it.. Also was not able to locate the Thomas Wall who is suppose to be in Vaughn with no dates. I have located death certificate on many of my male family up to both grandfathers but have had no luck on their spouses. ===================================================================================================== USGENWEB NOTICE: In keeping with our policy of providing free information on the Internet, data may be used by non-commercial entities as long as this message remains on all copied material.
