Telfair County This indenture made the nineteenth day of August in the year of our Lord eighteen hundred and fifty between Williams C. Spiers of the County & State aforesaid of the one part & Jeremiah Walker of the same place of the other part. Witnesseth, that the said William C. Spiers for & in consideration of One hundred Dollars to him in hand paid at & before the sealing & delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted, bargained, sold & conveyed & does by these presents grant, bargain, sell & convey unto the said Jeremiah Walker his heirs & assigns all that tract or parcel of land situated lying & being in the Fourteenth District of Wilkinson now Telfair County known & distinguished in the plan of said District by No. Forty five (45) containing two hundred two & a half acres more or less, with all the members & appurtances hereto belonging To have and to hold the aforesaid described lot of land unto his the said Jeremiah Walker his heirs & assigns together with all the rights members & appurtances to the said lot of land in any wise belonging to his & their own proper use, benefit & behoof forever in fee simple & the said William S. Spiers for himself his heirs executors, & administrators the said bargained premises together with the right, title & possession thereof unto the said Jeremiah Walker his heirs & assigns, will warrant & forever defend the right title thereof against the claim of all other persons whatever.
