William Spiers Land Deed 19 Aug 1850  Telfair County, GA

Georgia .... Telfair County

   This indenture made the nineteenth day of August in the year of our
Lord eighteen hundred and fifty between Williams C. Spiers of the County
& State aforesaid of the one part & Jeremiah Walker of the same place of
the other part.

Witnesseth, that the said William C. Spiers for & in consideration of
One hundred Dollars to him in hand paid at & before the sealing &
delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged
hath granted, bargained, sold & conveyed & does by these presents grant,
bargain, sell & convey unto the said Jeremiah Walker his heirs & assigns
all that tract or parcel of land situated lying & being in the
Fourteenth District of Wilkinson now Telfair County known &
distinguished in the plan of said District by No. Forty five (45)
containing two hundred two & a half acres more or less, with all the
members & appurtances hereto belonging

To have and to hold the aforesaid described lot of land unto his the
said Jeremiah Walker his heirs & assigns together with all the rights
members & appurtances to the said lot of land in any wise belonging to
his & their own proper use, benefit & behoof forever in fee simple & the
said William S. Spiers for himself his heirs executors, & administrators
the said bargained premises together with the right, title & possession
thereof unto the said Jeremiah Walker his heirs & assigns, will warrant
& forever defend the right title thereof against the claim of all other
persons whatever.

In testimony whereof said William S. Spiers hath hereunto set his hand &
affixed his seal the day & year above written.
