DODGE COUNTY NEWSPAPER CLIPPINGS Volume VI., 1936-1941 By: Tad Evans Date: Page 2793 Thursday, February 20, 1936 Obituary: Pages 2794 and 2795 MRS. H. B. MALOY. Mrs. Mary Williamson Maloy, a dearly beloved woman of Rhine, Route One, died at her home Saturday morning after a lingering illness. She had been a member of Sharon Baptist Church many years, and was a member of one of the outstanding pioneer families of this section, being a daughter of the late James and Elizabeth Parker Williamson. Mrs. Maloy was 73 years old and is survived by the following children: Mrs, G. L. Harrell, Mrs. J. B. Jeffries and Miss Alice Maloy, Rhine, Route One, Mrs. W. T. Long of Moultrie; D. J. Maloy of Milan; J. H. and W. L. Maloy of Rhine, Route One. Her husband died in February 1935. Funeral services were conducted at Sharon Church Sunday afternoon by Rev. J, C. McLeod. The following granddaughters served as flower girls: Maggie Lee Harrell, Bernice Jeffries, Ruby Long, Maxine Maloy, Maud Harrell and Christine Maloy. The following grandsons served as pallbearers: Williamson Maloy, Tom Long, Willie H. Harrell, Tutt Maloy, Ben Maloy, Fate Harrell. Mrs. Manning Harrell and Tom Hilliard sang hymns. Interment was in the church cemetery. Additional Comments: Compiler Notes: Mary Elizabeth Catherine Williamson was the wife of Hugh Bain Maloy was buried on Sunday afternoon the 16 February 1936.
