                       Ellis Pittman
 Ellis Pittman, 70, died Monday at his residence.
 Services will be held at 11am today in Wainright and Parlor Funeral Home in 
Hazelhurst. Burial will be in McDuffie Cemetery in Telfair County. The Rev. 
Mike Yawn will officiate.
 A native of Bibb County, Mr. Pittman lived most of his life in Telfair County, 
moving to Macon two years ago. He was a World War II Army veteran.
 Survivors include six sons, James Pittman of Fort Oglethorpe, Carl and Wayne 
Pittman of Chattanooga, Tenn., and Jerry, Michael, and Butch Pittman of 
Hazelhurst; two brothers, William E. Pittman of Hazelhurst and Martin Pittman 
of Brunswick; two sisters, Sarah Wilkes of Hazelhurst and Jewell Crews of 
Jacksonville, Fla.

Additional Comments:
Ellis was born 18 Sep 1918 to Ira Pittman and Lura Unknown Pittman.He was 
married to Emma Lee Logue.
