Aged and Prominent Citizen of Telfair Died Sunday. Mr. Wm Studstill, one of Telfair County’s oldest and most highly esteemed citizens, died at his home near Temperanceon Sunday morning last of infirmities of old age, he having reached the 86th mile post on the road of time. His body was buried at Concord Methodist Church, of which he had been a faithful member for many years, on Monday. The interment was with Masonic honors, Col. W. J. Williams, of Eastman, his old friend and neighbor, acting as Worshipful Master of China Hill Lodge, and conducting the services. Mr. Studstill had lived a long and useful life and passed to his reward in the great beyond with the love and esteem of all who knew him. He is survived by three children, viz: Mrs. N. H. Harrell of Eastman, Mrs. Dave Ryals of Abbeville, and Mr. J. B. Studstill. Additional Comments: Compiler Notes: To determine Mr. Studstill actual date of death I used the Calendar 1906. Sunday fell on the 26th August 1906. This is his date of his death. He died near Temperance, this is in Telfair County, Georgia.
