Tucker, 79, died Thursday, May 6, 1999. An Army veteran of World War II, he was a security guard, retired from Frigidaire. He was a member of Springhill Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Jewel Tucker; children, Theresa Browning and Darlene Mason, both of Lumber City, Juanita McDaniel of McRae, Frank Tucker of Fitzgerald, and Ernest Tucker and David Tucker of Scotland; sisters, Lila Holder of Bronson, Fla., Dorothy Irvin of Bassville Park, Fla., and Louise Davis; 14 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 tonight at the Tucker residence, Old Sand Pit Road, Lumber City. Lowe's Funeral Home in Helena has charge of arrangements. Additional Comments: Edward was born 23 Dec 1919. His wife Ruby Jewell Elton Tucker is also buried in the Scotland Cemetery.
