                            Jewel Tucker, 77
SCOTLAND - Services for Jewel Tucker will be 3P.M. Sunday, March 1, 2009 at the 
chapel of Lowe's Funeral Home and burial will be in Scotland City Cemetery. She 
died Friday, February 27, 2009 at Lower Oconee Regional Hospital in Glenwood. 
-Tucker, age 77, was the daughter of the late Isisah Frank and Ethel Estelle 
Richardson Elton of Wheeler County and the widow of Arthur Edward Tucker. She 
was a member of Springhill Baptist Church, a homemaker and had lived in Telfair 
County most of her life. -Survivors include six children, Gail Browning of 
Helena, Frank Mitchell (Brenda) Tucker of Fitzgerald, David (Teresa) Tucker of 
Scotland, Juanita (Wade) Watts of Hazlehurst, Ernie (Maria) Tucker of Scotland, 
Darlene (Wendell) Mason of Lumber City; fourteen grandchildren, seventeen great-
grandchildren, three sisters, Ann Jackson of Alamo, Lilly (Ferrell) Whatley of 
Towns, Abbie (Eddie) Locke of Scotland; one brother, Billy (Ethel Ann) Elton of 
McRae; several nieces and nephews. -Visitation will be 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. 
Saturday, February 28, 2009 at the funeral home. -Lowe's Funeral Home of Helena 
is in charge of the arrangements.

Jewell was born 6 Sep 1931 to Isaiah Frank Elton and Ester Estel Richardson 
Elton. Her husband is also buried in Scotland Cemetery.
