Obituary: Died at her residence in Telfair Coounty, on the 29th day of July, 1884, Mrs. Louisa Wilcox, wife of: Hon. John Willcox, deceased, aged sixty-eight years, nine months and fourteen days. Mrs. Willcox was the daughter of Rev. Wilson Conner, a Baptist minister, well known in Georgia, and distinguished for his eloquence and piety. As a daughter, sister, wife, mother or friend, Mrs. Willcox was inferior to none in dischharging the duties of the same, and since the year of 1852 she lived and died a member of the Baptist church... Additional Comments: Compiler Notes: Louisa Ann Conner was the 2nd wife of the Hon. John Willcox, Jr. He was born: 20 Jun 1814 in Telfair County, Georgia and died 16 December 1880 at Temperance in Telfair County, Georgia. He as well as his wife are buried at the John Willcox Plantation Cemetery, Telfair County, Georgia. Further Note: Louis Ann Conner was born 08 Oct 1815 at or near Dead River in Mopontgomery County, Georgia. Her death is as stated above.
