A postal from a friend informs us of the death near Temperance, Telfair County, on the 7th inst., of Mrs. Mary Williamson, wife of Rev. James Williamson. Mrs. Williamson passed away in the eighty-fifth year of her age. She is well known in Hawkinsville, and “Uncle Jimmie” has many friends in this community. Additional Comments: Compiler Notes: Mary Loper married 1st Benjamin Harvey (Benjamin Harvey died 21 Aug 1825 in Savannah., Chatham County., Georgia ) death due to dysentery and she married in 1828, 2nd Rev. James W. “Uncle Jimmie” Williamson in Effingham County., Georgia. In 1829 the family moved to Telfair County., Georgia. The information on Mary comes from several Family Trees and the obituary is as stated. She and her husband Rev. James W.
