It seem some other family members were in the court action. Mark and Caroline J. Etheredge are buried at Ebenezer Baptist Church, Trenton,S.C., about 10 miles from Edgefield. It shows Caroline the daugher of Jesse and Patty Jennings, and are in the "Whatkins Family Plot" Marks and Caroline's daughter, Rosanah Etheredge married W.J. Whatkins. and is also in this plot, The Jennings of Saluda S.C. went to Red Bank Baptist Church. They live on the Red Bank Creek- Saluda river. There is a street named after the Jennings. It runs across the road that turns down into the Red Bank Baptist Church. S. Jennings St. turns into Lexington/Columbia HWY. N. Jennings St. runs into Etheredge St. I have can not prove any Jennings relations beyound John Jennings(06-22-1743-1819) who married Mary (Troon/Tutin) (c.1740-?) and their children.I have seen web site going back to S. Wingfield, England, but do not know where they got their information.
