Died in 1862. ** Additional/contradictory information provided by VicDouglas@aol.com In looking at your records I found JW Tucker a Pvt with this unit. His records indicate that he was wounded 9-17-62 at Sharpsburg, captured 4-29-63 at Chancellorville, captured again at Strasburg on 10-19-64 and sent to Point Lookout Md on 10-24. He died as a POW on 11-25-64. He was a brother to J H Tucker ( John Hampton) also of Co H 13th Ga. But he was not listed in your roster for this regiment. He died on 1-19-63 of pnumonia at Chimborazo Hospital in Richmond. He was my Great-Great Grandfather. Info from Confed. arch, Chap6,File no.17,pg132.
