Adams stopped over yesterday with Americus friends while en route to Dawson from a visit to relatives in Columbus. - Americus Recorder. Captain John P. Allen, who has been in Burke county several months, is at home. He received a warm welcome from his many friends. Mrs. Rebecca Tison, of Friendship, who has been spending some time with her sick daughter, Mrs. A.I. Britt, has returned home. Messrs. Walter James, Robert Keyton, and Emmett Cook of Cusseta visited their cousin, Mrs. L.D. Hatcher, last Sunday. Rev. T.M. Callaway and Dr. W.C. Paschal left yesterday for Washington to attend the Baptist convention. Mr. Charles Deubler represented the Dawson lodge in the State Council of Roy Areanum at Rome last week. Mr. C.J. Turner has been down from Cedartown visiting relatives and friends. He returned home Monday. Miss Eloise Wilson went down to Eufaula Thursday to visit relatives. She returned home Sunday.
