Joel E. Lunsford
Dawson - Joel E. Lunsford of Parrott died Monday, December 29, 2003, at Lee Co. 
Health Care in Leesburg.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 31, at 11 a.m. at the 
graveside in Parrott City Cemetery, with Brother Fred Collins officiating.

Mr. Lunsford was a native of Randolph County, born July 30, 1909, son of the 
late Warren B. Lunsford and Orrie Cleveland Lunsford. He lived in Parrott most 
of his life and was employed in the Peanut Drying and Shelling business. He was 
a member of Parrott Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Freddy Lunsford of Parrott and Benny Lunsford of 
Sylvester; two brothers, Andrew Lunsford of Clarksville, TX and John T. 
Lunsford of Seattle, WA; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Albany Community Hospice, P. O. Box 1828, Albany, GA 
31702-1828, or to a favorite charity.

The family will receive friends at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Freddy 
Lunsford in Parrott.
