MORTUARY.

I. G. Marshall, Dawson, Ga.
Dawson, Ga., August 25-
The remains of the late I. G. Marshall, whose death occurred early Sunday 
morning in Bainbridge, were brought to Dawson and interred in the city cemetery 
this morning.  The deceased was for many years a citizen of Terrell county and 
at one time he filled the office of Sheriff of this county.  He was a gallant 
confederate soldier and was a member of the famous Seventeenth Georgia regiment 
and color-bearer.  He was in his sixty-fourth year at the time of his death.
