R.B. McClure the well known representative from Dawson was called home yesterday on a sad mission. Mr. McClure received a message from Mr. Austin Law when he first entered the hall of representatives yesterday calling him home with the sad announcement that his seventeen year old son Charles had been killed while out hunting the night before by having a tree to fall upon him. Young McClure was hunting with several friends and they cut down the tree to get an opossum when it fell upon him. Much profound sympathy was felt among the members of the legislature yesterday for Mr. McClure when he learned of the untimely death of his son.
