February 6, 1986 Mr. Kennedy. - Henry Dewey Kennedy, 69, died at his home Thursday evening, January 30. He had been ill for some time. Funeral services were held at the graveside Saturday morning, February 1, in Cedar Hill Cemetery with the Rev. James Mallard, pastor of First Baptist Church, and the Rev. Steve Ferguson, pastor of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, officiating. Mr. Kennedy was a retired Chief Warrant Officer of the Georgia National Guard, 121st Infantry. He was a veteran of World War II; a charter member of Davis-Daniel Post 133, American Legion; the Masons; Shriners; First Baptist Church and the Men's Bible Class. He was the son of the late W.O. Kennedy and Pearl Blackshear Kennedy, born November 29, 1916. He was married to the former Miss Lee Drinkwater and lived in Terrell County all his life. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Joy Senn; a son, Kenny Kennedy; grandson, Eric Senn; and a sister, Mrs. Dixie K. Helton. Harvey Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
