The Dawson News, abt. June 24, 1982

E.P. Kennedy - Edgar Pearce Kennedy, 74, died at his home on Lee Street on 
Saturday, June 19.  He was 74 years old.  Funeral services were held Monday 
afternoon at Harvey Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Terry Taylor, pastor of Green 
Acres Baptist Church in Warner Robins and the Rev. James Mallard, pastor of 
First Baptist Church, Dawson, officiating (last of this section is cut off].  
Mr. Kennedy was a native of Terrell County, born March 30, 1908.  He parents 
were the late William O. and pearl Blackshear Kennedy.  He was retired from 
Civil service at Warner Robins where he served as Directorate of Maintenance.  
He was a veteran of World War II, Army Air Corps, a member of the P.T. Schley 
Masonic Lodge and Dawson First Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, 
Mrs. Lois Harper Kennedy of Dawson, Brother, Dewey Kennedy of Dawson and a 
sister Mrs. Dixie Helton.
