H. Thurmond, who departed this earthly life for a home in heaven on September 17, 1905: Resolved: That in the death of Mrs. T. H. Thurmond the Foreign Missionary Society has sustained irreparable loss, but we bow in meek submission to the will of God in this dispensation of His; That we extend to the grief-stricken husband our deepest sympathy in his sorrow, and would point his tear-dimmed eyes to the "home of the soul," where there is neither sorrow or separation, and for the children we feel the tenderest love and sympathy; That a copy of these resolutions be spread upon our minutes and a copy be sent to the family and to The Dawson News for publication.
