WOOTEN DIES SUDDENLY AT DAWSON Dawson, Ga. January 16. -(Special) Joseph W. Wooten, a prominent citizen and wll known and successful business man, died at his home here this afternoon from valvular heart affection. His death was sudden occurring just after he finished writing some letters, his wife sitting near him. He was 65 years old this month. He is survived by his wife and three daughters, Mrs. E. M. McKenzie, of Montezuma; Mrs. Graham Perdue, of Atlanta and Miss Claire Wooten, of Vienna. He was a gallant confederate soldier and a member of the Fifth Georgia Regiment. Funeral services will be held Thursday morning.
