W.J. Lewis was Postmaster from 1906-1914., during which time these early Rural 
Carriers posed in front of Dawson Post Office. The postal workers (left to 
right) are:

J F Everett
W F Talbot

W J Lewis Postmaster


Note Added Sept 8, 2006 by C. Turner Lewis:
W. J. Lewis [William Johnston T. (Bill) Lewis] was my grand uncle and 
was postmaster bet Feb 28 1906 and 1914.
And S H Roberts is Simeon Halveston-son of George & Mary C V Cannon.
