Pastor Clark has a busy day. On last Tuesday the nuptial clouds hung low over our little town. Here and there people were going, some with bridal presents and some with sweet flowers. Rev. C.T. Clark donned his ceremonial robes and between 4 and 8 o'clock p.m. severed six single life-moorings and launched three couples out on life's sea to make the voyage heart against heart and hand in hand... while this ceremony was being performed a large crowd of relatives and friends were gathering at the home of Mrs. E.V. Bowman to be present at the marriage of her daughter, Miss Johnnie Leverett, one of Bronwood's pretty and accomplished young ladies, to Mr. S.W. Kennedy, one of Terrell county's promising young men. The elegant home was decorated most artistically with ferns and fragrant flowers, standing out bolding over pretty vases edged with gold, and at five o'clock it was a joyous scene as the fair young couple, attended by Mr. S.D. Bowman and Miss Jessie Reynolds and Mr. Ben Holland and Miss Leila Haynes, stood before Rev. C.T. Clark and plighted their marriage vows. The congratulation of those present were of the heartiest nature. The wedding ceremony over, the guest repaired to the home of the bridegroom, where a large table had been arranged with fairly groaned beneath a sumptuous supper...
