A marriage of much interest to many friends was that of Mr. W.D. Kennedy and Miss Julia Jennings Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Accompanied by Mr. J.H. Kennedy [James Hugh, brother] and Miss Pauline Battle and Messrs. Ernest and George Jennings the couple went to the home of Mr. J.B. McCorkle, in the eastern part of the county, where the ceremony was performed by Rev. J.H. Allen. The groom, who is with Wall Bros., is a young man of splendid character, and enjoys the esteem of all who know him, while the bride is the attractive daughter of Rev. and Mrs. R.H.
