Pastor Clark has a busy day. On last Tuesday the nuptial clouds hung low over our little town. Here and there people were going, some with bridal presents and some with sweet flowers. Rev. C.T. Clark donned his ceremonial robes and between 4 and 8 o'clock p.m. severed six single life-moorings and launched three couples out on life's sea to make the voyage heart against heart and hand in hand. At 4 o'clock, Mr. J.A. Boone, of Smithville, and Miss Annie Moore Batts, one of Smithville's most popular young ladies, with a few friends, drove into Bronwood to the Methodist parsonage, and at 4:30 o'clock Rev. C.T. Clark united them in the holy bond of matrimony. While this ceremony was being performed a large crowd of relatives and friends were gathering at the home of Mrs. E.V.
