Barwick, Administrator on the estate of the deceased. It is therefore ordered by this Court that the provisions on the place of the deceaed together with nine head of hogs, amounting to fifty eight dollars and seventy bushels of corn said placed value at seventy five dollars and the further said two hundred and seventy nine dollars in money making in all the sum of four hundred twelve dollars and the same is hereby set apart to widow and family for the said twelve months support commencing on the 10th day of October A.D., 1855 and ending on the 10th day of October A.D., 1856. And it is further ordered that said John W. Barwick as Administrator as aforesaid turn over said provisions corn and money to said Sarah W. Barwick, widow as aforesaid when called on to do so by said widow and that he take her receipt for the same. H.H. His wife was Sarah Whittle, born 8-16-1792 in S.C., daughter of Rev. John Whittle. They are not to be confused with William Barwick, born 1824-1826 in Washington County, Georgia and his wife Sarah Ann Smith, born 1830 Washington County, Georgia, daughter of Allen Smith, born 1803. However, William Barwick, born 1824-1826 was the son of William Barwick, born 8-30-1795. They both married ladies with the name Sarah. The John W. Barwick, Administrator, was John Wesley Barwick, born 1821 in Washington County, Georgia. He was the son of William Barwick, born 1795 mentioned above and Sarah Whittle. John Wesley married in Thomas County, Georgia 9-28-1856 to Sarah Kellam, born 1817. They lived in Thomas County, Georgia, had no children.
