All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/ga/gafiles.htm ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Jennifer Cone JennyCone@aol.com February 28, 2007, 2:15 pm 170/17 Written: July 19, 1889 Recorded: September 3, 1889 Deed Book Y, Page 93 Georgia Thomas County This indenture made this nineteenth day of July in the year One Thousand Eight Hundred and Eighty Nine between Mary A Carlisle, Elizabeth Mize, Sarah A Smith, Sophronia Brumley, Matilda Brumley and James A Carlisle of the County of Thomas State of Georgia of the first part, and William M Carlisle of the County of Thomas State of Georgia of the second part Witnesseth that the said parties of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of six dollars to them in hand paid by the party of the second part, at or before the sealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted, bargained, sold and conveyed unto the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns all that tract or parcel of land situate lying and being in the seventeenth (17th) district of said county and known and distinguished in the plan of said district as part of lot in One Hundred and Seventy (170) and more particularly described as being in the South West corner of said Lot, and bounded on the South by the original South line of the lot, on the North by East prong of Barnetts Creek on the East by said Creek and in the West by West line of said lot, containing ten acres. > To have and to hold the said tract of land together with all and singular the rights members and appurtenances thereto appertaining or belonging to their own proper use, benefit and behoof of the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns forever in fee simple. And the said partys (sic) of the first part will, and their heirs executors and administrators shall, the aforegranted premises unto the said party of the second part, his heirs executors adminstrators and assigns forever warrant and defend by virtue of these presents.
