C 29th Regt GA Appears on Register of Jackson Hospital Richmond, Virginia Diagnosis D (?) Admitted March 10, 1865 When Furloughed: March 24, 1865 Time Furloughed: 30 days Additional Comments: Madison Tait/Tate was the 2nd born son of William A. and Catherine Tait/Tate. He was born in Georgia year 1828. He moved about every 10 years with his parents (who at the time was living in Decatur County )until he joined the Civil War in Thomas County, Georgia. These are his records, Madison Tait/Tate cannot be found listed in any other records after the war. It is belived that he passed away some time during his furlough from Jackson Hospital in Virginia.
