in Cherokee County, Alabama October 19, 1864. Paroled at
Camp Douglas, Illinois and forwarded for exchange March
14, 1865. Received at Boulware & Cox's Wharves, James
River, Virginia, March 18-21, 1865. Admitted to Richmond,
Virginia hospital March 21, 1865, and sent to Camp Lee,
Virginia March 22, 1865. No later record.

Stansell, John W. -- Private - July 28, 1861. Killed at
Chickamauga, Georgia September 19, 1863.

Stringer, Josiah M. (or Josiah N.) -- Private - August
28, 1861. In General Hospital at Guyton, Georgia February
29, 1864. No later record.

Thomas, Samuel M. -- Private - July 27, 1861. Appointed
1st Corporal August 1, 1862; Sergeant. Captured at
Nashville, Tennessee December 16, 1864. Died of pneumonia
at Camp Chase, Ohio, January 9, 1865. Grave #731, one
half mile south of Camp Chase Confederate Cemetery.

Thompson, Jesse N. -- Private - July 27, 1861. Wounded,
date and place not given. Admitted to Floyd House &
Ocmulgee Hospitals at Macon, Georgia, with diarrhoea,
September 30, 1863. No later record.

Weldon, G. W. -- Pension records show he enlisted March
1862, and surrendered at Greensboro, North Carolina April
26, 1865.

Westbrook, F. A. -- Private - June 27, 1862. Captured at
Nashville, Tennessee December 16, 1864. Released at Camp
Douglas, Illinois June 20, 1865.

Westbrook, Thomas C. -- Private - June 27, 1862. Pension
records show he was wounded twice in left hip at
Chickamauga, Georgia September 19, 1863, and sent to
Field Hospital same day. Transferred to Dalton, Georgia
September 28, 1863; thence to Atlanta, Georgia Sent home
and was unable to return to command. (Born in Georgia
February 12, 1840. Died in Banks County, Georgia in
1907.)

Williams, David -- Private - October 1, 1862. Substitute
for H. A. Ramsey. Deserted at Savannah, Georgia October
4, 1862.

Williams, Mathew -- Private - July 23, 1862. Died of
fever in Thomas County, Georgia October 1 or 15, 1862.

Winn, James N. -- Private - July 27, 1861. Discharged,
furnished John E. Bryan as substitute, June 12, 1862.

Young, Michael H. -- Private - July 27, 1861. Discharged,
furnished William G. Price as substitute, March 29, 1862.
Elected Jr. 2nd Lieutenant of Company C, 29th Battalion
Georgia Cavalry August 12, 1863. Roll for October 31,
1864, last on file, shows him present. Surrendered at
Waynesboro, Georgia May 1865.

Young, William J. -- Captain - July 27, 1861. Elected
Colonel May 10, 1862. Lost right arm at Chickamauga,
Georgia September 19, 1863. Resigned, disability,
November 10, 1863.
