PITTMAN Reporter Miss Alvina Mae Carlton and Mr. Jack Darling Smith of Fort Benning, were married at Cario, April 1st, in the presence of immediate members of the family. As soon as Mr. Smith completes his instruction course at Fort Benning , he and Mrs. Smith will reside at Anchorage, Alaska, where he will be connected with the 28th Aviation Engineers. Mrs. Smith is the daughter of Car Inspector A. B. Carlton. Congratulations!! Mr. J. V. Vickers and Miss Mary Cook were married at Thomasville, April 9th, and are receiving congratulations, from friends. Until recently Mr. Vickers was employed as clerk at local freight agency, having transferred to the Valdosta freight agency. Miss Olive Jane McCray and Mr. George Edward Wooley, both of Thomasville, were married at sunrise, Easter morning, April 18th, and after a wedding trip through parts of Florida, will make their home at Thomasville, where Mr. Wooley, is connected with one of the larger chain grocery stores.
