      April 22, 1922

Tom  Hough  Severely 
Burned  In  Gasoline
Explosion  Today----
    Mr. Tom Hough was rushed to
the hospital in a Whiddon's ambu-
lance shortly after seven o'clock
this morning to receive treatment
from burns suffered as the result
of a gasoline explosion.
    Little deatils of Mr. Hough's 
condition or the nature of his inju-
ries could be ascertained.  It is
understood that he was putting
gasoline in the carburator of his
car in front of his residence on the
Moultrie road when the car back-
fired and the explosion followed.
He is said to have received burns
around the chest and arms as the
result of the explosion and is now
recieving treatment at the hospital.
