Descendants of Late 
Henry White and
Anthony Palmer
In Reunion - -
 
      The  family of  the late  Mr.
Henry   White   and   the   late  Mr.
Anthony  Palmer,  both  for  many 
years  prominent  pioneer  citizens 
of the Meigs community, gathered 
last Sunday at the home of Mr. and
Mrs. H. I . Alligood on the Boston
road, for a joint family reunion.
     Among the large number present
was the children, grand children and
great grand children and other close
relatives of the descendants of these
pioneer citizens.
      At  noon time dinner was spread
picnic style on  the  big  back  porch
of  the home and the occasion proved
to be a most interesting and enjoyable
one.
     Among those attending were the
following:
     Mrs. K. A. Alligood, Mr and Mrs.
Bennett Pierce, Horace Alligood, Mr.
and  Mrs.  Braxton  Alligood,  Miss
Christine   Alligood,  All  of  Albany.
     Mrs. R. C. Cooper,  Mr.  and  
Mrs. A. A. Cooper, Mr. and Mrs. R. 
W.  Palmer,  Mrs.  Bill  Miller and little 
daughter  Joan,  Mr. and  Mrs.  L.  R. 
Ferguson, Miss Louise Ferguson, Miss 
Lorene  Ferguson,   Miss  Lila  Jean 
Ferguson,  Mr. and Mrs. Delmas Cooper,
and  little  daughter,  Cynthia,  Chester 
Cooper, L. R. Ferguson, Jr. Mrs. John 
D. Culpepper, all of Meigs.
      Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Palmer and
daughter, Dorothy Nell, of Ty Ty, Ga.
     Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Collier, Preston,
Edwin  and  C. C. Collier, Jr., Mr. and
Mrs. P. O. Cooper,  Mr. and Mrs. T. A.
Brown, all of Ochlocknee, GA.
     Mrs. Ansley Law and little son James,
Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Griffin, and children,
Edwin, Trixie and Doris; Mr. and Mrs. 
E. L. Alligood and children, Rodney, 
Gerald, and Terry; Mrs. Simpson Chastain,
Misses Bettie and Nellie Chastain; Hubert
and Bradford Alligood and Mrs. Ralph
