  MAYOR WHITE PRESIDES
   OVER CONVENTION OF 
   GEORGIA  DRUGGIST
   John  W.  White  President of 
   State  Pharmaceutical  Ass'n.
   In  Session  in  Macon  today.
     Macon, Ga., April 22(AP) Hundreds
of   druggists   from   over   the  state
were  gathering  here  today  for  the
opening  session  tonight  of  the 66th
annual   convention  of   the  Georgia
Pharmaceutical   Association.
     The  delegates will  hear during the
three - day  meeting  a  score of  speak-
ers selected  from  men  prominent  in
national  and  state  drug  fields.
     Registration   late   this   afternoon 
will be followed by a directors meet-
ing  at  6 p. m. and  the  general  open-
ing  session  at  8  p .m.  over  which
President   John  W.  White  of  Thom-
asville  will  preside.
     The  assembly  will  hear   addresses 
of  welcome  by  local  dignitaries  and
responses  by  association   representa-
tives.
     President  and  Mrs. White  will  be
honored  at  a  ball  at  10  p. m.  at
which  Mr.  White  will  speak.
     Business  sessions  will  open  tomor-
row  morning.
