A. Linton's place. The last chase was on last Saturday morning. A considerable number of our fun-loving citizens participated in the chase, which lasted a little over an hour and resulted in the capture of a fox alive by Judge Hopkins. Finding himself sorely pressed by the dogs, Reynard took to Mr. Linton's lot, and after running around among the mules and horses a few times attempted to get through the fence. While in this act Judge H. seized him by the tail with one hand and the nape of the neck with the other and lifted him out of reach of the dogs. He is still alive and will probably be given a chance for his life at the hands of the same hunters and dogs.
