Evans, Mrs. M.R. Mallette,Mrs. E.F. Cooke, Mrs. Julia Robinson, Mrs. T.J. Macartney,Miss M.E. Lowman and Mrs. W.P. Blasingam, all of saidState and County, respectfully shows, First: That they desire to become incorporated under the name and style of; "Vashti Blasingame Industrial Home," for a term of twenty years with the privilege of renewal at the end of that time. Second: To maintain and keep a benevolent institution forthe care, custody, education and training of, homeless and needy female children between the ages of 10 and 18 years. Third: Your petitioners show that they propose to care for, train and educate all such female children and to providetheir sud home with an industrial department that the said children may be taught and instucted in those things properly appertaining thereto. Fourth: That the capital stock of the said proposed corporation is to be three thousand dollars; all of which has been paid in. Fifth: Petetioners desire the right to acquire by purchase or gift real and personal property in the name of the said proposed corporation. Sixth: Petitioners desire the right to make all such laws, regulations and bylaws for the government of of the said Home as may seem proper. WHEREFORE, petitioners may be made a body corporate under the name and style aforesaid, entitled to the rights, privileges, and immunities and subject to the liabilities fixed by law.
