Mrs. McCartney Passes Away
Mrs. Gertrude Neighbor McCarney, wife of T. J. McCartney and mother of J. D. 
McCartney of the Times-Enterprise and Mrs. J. W. Butler of Camilla, has 
breathed her last.  The end came peacefully and hardly perceptibly Wednesday 
morning at six thirty.

Mrs. McCartney was a native of Newcomerstown, Ohio, being born there in 1846.  
She was married to T. J. McCartney thirty-five years ago, and the breaking of 
the tie of more than a third of a century is a severe trial to him who has 
grown old in her companionship.--Times-Enterprise

The Messenger tenders its sympathy to the bereaved ones, knowing that He 
who "tempereth the winds to the shorn lamb," will take care of them as He alone 
can.
