Mitchell, died on the 22d inst., at the age of 67 years.-He had been an invalid for several years, and only recently returned from Tennessee, where he had been in hope of improving his health. Mr. Mitchell lived a Universalist to within a few days of his death when he was converted to the orthodox faith, and to the great joy of his family renounced Universalism and embraced true Christianity. A few hours after his death he was followed to eternity and the grave by an elder sister, Mrs. Ann Blackshear, a lady like himself, lamented for those sterling virtues that never fail to give their possessor a home in our affections.
