ROBERT PARKER LAID TO REST TODAY Friends will regret to learn of the death of Mrs. Robert Parker, aged woman of this city, at her home here last night and funeral services were held for her this afternoon at four o'clock, conducted by the Rev. Joe Cook of the Methodist church. Interment was in the Bold Springs cemetery. Born Mary Melvina Barrow in Jackson County, Florida, she was a daughter of the late William and Nancy Broxton Barrow of Jackson County, Florida. She is survived by her husband, Mr. Robert S. Parker, two sons, Robert, Jr. and William Parker and two daughters, Mrs. Vinnie White and Mrs. Nancy Hess. Mrs. Parker has lived in Thomasville for many years and was well known to many people. She was 84, years of age and for several years had been in feeble health, unable to get out much, except about her home. Funeral services were in charge of Herring's.
