The Rev. Amy McKinsey will officiate and interment is in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Cairo. Active pallbearers are Evan Evans, Terry Ferrell, Joe Lama, Frankie Bowden, Bobby Brown, Dan Wells, Robert Bearden and Roger Murphy. Mr. Terrell died Saturday, July 19 at Grady General Hospital in Cairo. Born May 30, 1917 in Coosa County, Ala., he was a son of the late George and Carrie Casson Terrell. He was a civil engineer, a tree farmer and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Mr. Terrell was a member of the MIT Alumni Association, Humane Society, Sierra Club, Metropolitan Opera Guild, Atlanta Opera, Alabama Shakespeare Festival Theatre and Syrup City Players. Survivors include his wife, Jane Eubanks Terrell of Whigham; brother, James Irby Terrell of Thomasville; nephews, Terry Terrell of Cairo, Charles R. Ledford of Longview, Wash.; nieces, Lucrecia Etienne of Longview, Valerie Terrell of Paris, France; and several grand- nieces and nephews.
