Spencer Lavon Teal
Services for Spencer Lavon Teal, Cairo, are at 11 a.m., Thursday, July 10, 
2003 at Weston's Funeral Home Chapel. Elder Clarence Garland will officiate 
and interment is in Crestview Cemetery. Active pallbearers are members of the 
Cairo High School Class of 1982. Mr. Teal died July 3 at Archbold Hospital. 
Born in Grady County, he was a son of Lizzie Mae Teal and the late Lucious 
Tise. He attended Grady County public schools and a member of St. John 
Freewill Holiness Church. Survivors include his mother, Lizzie Mae Teal of 
Cairo; brothers, Freddie Teal, Ricky (Patricia) Teal, Lucious Teal, Terrell 
(Novella) Tise all of Cairo; sisters, Ethel (Larry) Lowe of Brooklyn, N.Y., 
Rose Mary (Jessie) James, Gladys (Willie) Green, Marilyn (Jackie) Baker, Joann 
Tise, Johnnie Mae Bradshaw all of Cairo; aunts, Willie Lee Bowman of 
Attapulgus, Ida Dean McCoy, Inez Corker both of Cairo; and a host of nieces, 
nephews, cousins and friends. -- Weston's Funeral Home
