The Rev. Dr. Ron McCaskill and the Rev. Dr. Milton Gardner will officiate and interment is in Greenwood Cemetery in Cairo. Active pallbearers are Keith Davis, Lauren Bearden, Billy Webb, Dennis Cain, Gary Walsingham, Mark Cain and Larry Cain. Honorary pallbearers are the Business Men Sunday School Class of First Baptist Church, Jet Cox, Sid Pridgen, Dr. James Hester and Robert Ready. Mr. Webb died Tuesday, July 15 at Grady General Hospital in Cairo. Born Oct. 27, 1909 in Thomas County, he was a son of of the late Mark and Arrilla Bass Webb. On Feb. 5, 1939, he married Virginia Cain Webb of Cairo, who survives. A lifetime resident of Grady County, he was a retired farmer. After retirement, he was custodian of First Baptist Church, courier and groundskeeper for Grady General Hospital and later delivered for Cox Pharmacy. He loved his church family where he was a member at First Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Virginia Cain Webb of Cairo; daughters and son-in-law, Birtie Sue Smith, Twila and Johnny Bearden, Diane Davis all of Cairo; sons and daughter-in-law, Henry Wiley Webb Jr. of New York, Tommy and Becky Webb of Forest Park; sisters, Peggy Roth of Sylmar, Calif., Virginia Webb of Columbus; grandchildren, Lynn D. and Dane Merritt of Cairo, Keith and Vickie Davis all of Cairo, Robin B. and Danny Gibson of Granville, Ohio, Michael Lauren and Lauren Bearden of Tampa, Fla., Ashton Webb of Forest Park, Josh and Tiffany Davis of Covington, Kerri and Brian Harrell of Bainbridge; great-grandchildren, Zeb Davis, Lee Sandefur both of Cairo, Daniel Gibson, Benjamin Gibson both of Granville, Ohio, Kegan Newton, Draiha Harrell, Cayden Harrell all of Bainbridge and Cody Davis of Covington. He was preceded in death by sisters, Mae Benton, Ozell Hudson, Isabel Beller, M.E.
