Aaron Tillman
Services for Aaron Tillman, 59, of New Jersey, are at 11 a.m., Friday, Aug. 8, 
2003 at the chapel of Hatcher-Peoples Funeral Home. Brother Clay Phillips will 
officiate and interment is in Peaceful Rest Cemetery. Active pallbearers are 
Men in Unity. Mr. Tillman died July 29 in New Jersey. Born Dec. 23, 1944 in 
Pavo, he was a son of Jannie M. Tillman and the late Guss Tillman of 
Thomasville. A 1961 graduate of Magnolia High School, he was a member of Mt. 
Calvary CME Church and a body mechanic. Mr. Tillman spent his earlier years in 
Thomasville and Pavo. Survivors include his mother, Jannie Mae Tillman of 
Thomasville; a son, Alexander Tillman of Jersey City, N.J.; a daughter, Lisa 
(Cecil) Tillman Martinez of Jersey City; brothers, Willie (Barbara) Tillman, 
Benjamin Tillman, Guss (Emma) Tillman all of Thomasville; sisters, Elizabeth 
Sirmons, Eva Mae (Edward) Jones and Grace (Cleveland) Dubose all of 
Thomasville; two brothers-in-law; a sister-in-law; three grandchidlren; and a 
host of other loving relatives and friends plus nieces and nephews. His father 
and one brother preceded him in death. -- Hatcher-Peoples Funeral Home
