Cairo Messenger Mar 12, 1920

 E. A. White Laid To  Rest  Today
 
On last Monday evening at seven o’clock, Mr. Edwin Asbery White.(s/b Edward 
Asbury White, Jr.) passed away at his home about six miles east of town, 
following an attack  of  paralysis on  Friday  afternoon  before five o’clock.  
He was conscious up to the  time of his death. The  remains were laid to  rest  
in Bold  Springs cemetery Tuesday afternoon at three o’clock, the services 
being conducted by Rev. W. G. Sellars, and attended by a large concourse of 
sorrowing relatives and friends.
Mr. White was  in his sixty-third year, having been born May 13, 1862, and had 
been a member of the Missionary Baptist church a number of years. He was one 
the county’s best  known  and  well-to-do farmers, owning and operating   
large  farms besides having other business interests.
The deceased is survived by one brother, Mr. George White, of Pelham, his  
widow, seven children, three sons and four daughters, besides a number  of 
relatives and friends throughout the county.

CITATION.
GEORGIA -- Grady County.

To All  Whom It May Concern:

Mrs. Flora White, having applied to me for permanent Letters of Administration 
on the estate of E. A. White, late of said County, this is to cite all and 
singular he (sic) creditors and next of kin of E. A. White to be and appear at 
my office within the time allowed by law and show cause why letters should not 
be granted to petitioner, on said estate.

Witness my official signature, this 6th day of April, 1920.
