Entered Into Eternal Rest Monday, May 2, 1977 Funeral services for Dudley H. Lacey, Sr., age 67, of Rt. 6, Cassidy Road, will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 4, 1977 at Dekle Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Doyle C. Smith of Moultrie, the Rev. Melvin Kuhn and the Rev. A.T. Moye, with burial in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Mr. Lacey passed away Monday, May 2, 1977 at Archbold Hospital after an extended illness. A farmer and retired carpenter, Mr. Lacey was born Aug. 16, 1909 in Wilcox County, son of Seaborn and Minnie Henderson Lacey. He lived most of his adult life in Thomas County. He was a member of the Freewill Baptist faith. He was married Feb. 19, 1928 to the former Frances Adams, who survives. Also surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Lois Eddings, Mrs. Frances Dene Croft, Mrs. Ruby Whiddon, Thomasville; Mrs. Mary Odom, Douglasville; four sons, Coy Lacey, Tifton; Earl C. Lacey, Quitman; Waymon M. Lacey, Hernando, Fla.; D.H. (Buddy) Lacey, Moultrie; a brother, Lodge Lacey, Ocala, Fla.; a sister, Mrs. Eula Bruce, Dixie; 29 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
