The Rev. T.C. Mitchell, pastor, the Rev. Charlie Ross, officiating and pastor of First Unity M.B. Church in Thomasville. Interment is in Mitchell Cemetery in Metcalf. Active pallbearers are Roosevelt Andrews, Frank Ceasar, Gary Ceasar, Stonewall Jackson, Willie James Johnson, Terry Miller and Vernell Williams. Honorary pallbearers are Alteece Engram, Travis Engram, Luther Engram, Cedric Harper Sr. and David F. Butler II. Mrs. Engram died April 25 at Archbold Medical Center. Born Dec. 9, 1930 in Jefferson County, Fla., she was a daughter of the late Jim Herring and Ida McCoy Jones. She attended Metcalf Community School. Mrs. Engram was a member of Joshua Lodge, Mitchell Temple International Benevolent Society and a homemaker. Survivors include daughters, Ruby Engram, Gail Engram, Angeline Engram all of Thomasville; sons, Frank (Lorene) Engram, George (Rose) Engram, Willie (Priscilla) Engram all of Thomasville; sisters, Jeanette McCoy of Thomasville, Grace Harris of Jamesburg, N.J.; aunts, Bertha Lee Lawrence, Charlotte Reid both of Cleveland, Ohio; 25 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. A daughter, Louise Taylor; and a sister, Edith Riggins preceded her in death. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Repast is Saturday at the church after interment.
